  • Are Split Payments or Payment Plans Available?
    Yes! Let's collaborate to create a plan that is customized to you and free from additional fees. Your order will ship once the total bill is paid. All payments are nonrefundable, whether paid in full or over split payments. Contact me to get started!
  • Do You Offer Returns?
    All sales are final and all payments are non-refundable. We want you to be ecstatic when your jewelry arrives, so we recommend you take extra care to read all available information about the pieces you're purchasing. Pay attention to chain lengths, have your finger sized at a local jeweler. We want you to be confident in your purchase, so please feel free to message me for any clarification! I am happy to hear from you and share the information I have.
  • How do I know my ring size?
    We want you to be confident in your purchase and that means starting with a current and accurate measurement. Ring size can fluctuate over time and can be affected by a variety of factors. A few examples include weight change, time of day, and changes in humidity, temperature, and altitude. If it’s been a minute since you have had your fingers sized, consider getting resized at a local jeweler. Many of them will offer ring sizing as a a free service and it should be quick and easy. I strongly discourage using disposable ring-sizing devices found online and also do not recommend using string or measuring tape.
  • How do I care for my piece?
    How you treat your pieces directly impacts their longevity. Here are some tips to take gentle care of your jewelry.  • Be mindful of activities, clothing, and things where you might snag, catch, pull, smoosh, smash, drop or otherwise stress your piece of jewelry. • Remove your jewelry before going to bed, working out, swimming, manual labor, showering, cooking, cleaning, washing your hands, etc.. • Put on your jewelry after you are done applying sunscreen, make-up, hairspray, oils, perfume, lotions, etc.. • Always avoid chemical cleaners, liquid and paste jewelry cleaners, abrasives, and toothpaste.
  • How do I clean my piece?
    Each of our pieces are unique and each material has its own special considerations for cleaning. Please contact us for specific cleaning instructions!
  • Shipping Info?
    Shinymetalthings cannot ensure safe delivery and therefore ships and insures all domestic packages with USPS, unless otherwise stated. Once a package has been shipped, a tracking number will be sent to the email address provided during checkout. If a package is damaged or lost while in the hands of USPS, contact me and we can collaborate on next steps. Shinymetalthings cannot assume responsibility for packages that are stolen or damaged after delivery. For international shipping options, please contact me.
